Summary
This is a fanfic created based on the game DOORS of LSPLASH. The plot in this work is fan-created, and it takes place in the time before ''the Hotel'' alongside monsters appearing inside of it came into existence.
The story is written using the author's science-fiction headcanons of this game. In other words, I write a backstory for DOORS.My headcanon in this fanfic is that the Hotel used to be a cover for Rock Bottom, the scientific facilities which did inhuman experiments on human to achieve their aims. This story is about what happened that led to tragedies that caused dangerous entities in DOORS to be born. Most of characters in this fic is characters in DOORS in their backstories, except some added characters to rationalize the plot.

Summary
What if Adam’s journey into the basement had a different outcome? What if he realized the role designed for him before he lost his grasp of self? What if him and Jonah leave that house together?
Aka
Adam finds out he has been an alternate this whole time, that he isn’t the ‘real’ Adam Murray, who was stolen away as a small child and replaced by him. However, instead of falling and losing himself, Adam runs back to Jonah and the car.
Things shift from there as Adam tries to come to terms with this new information and the resulting changes this has on him while Jonah tries to figure out what happened in that basement to make the other begin to act so strangely
