50 years, it took. 50 longs years in which no one morned him bar Abolish. And in the end, he wasn’t even the one to have made it. Shelby had, which was ironic considering she had been the one to kill him.
Perhaps her actions had finally caught up to her, perhaps they had, for once, remembered not the jealous murderer, but the man who had been like a brother to her. The man they would wish they still had with them.
