Lex didn’t think his ex would say something so cruel. He knew Conner would call him after arguing with his father the moment he checked the news and saw the headline. “Breaking News: Kryptonian Feud.” Not something about the police being called to one of his company’s labs or the young heroes that had broken in. Just his ex yelling at their son in the street, in uniform, in the middle of a Friday afternoon.~Breakups can be messy, even years later and especially when there's a child caught in the crossfire.

Summary
After a huge mistake made by the man of steel, having him and Lex Luthor a small accidental, kiss. That led to far more then kissing, ending up in the man's penthouse, alone and confused as to what had happened. Soon to find Lex in his office with his head down and Mercy standing over him patting him on the back as small sniffles escaped the man's nose.
Why had Lex been crying, and why was he not impaled with a rod of green stuff in his sleep. This was just a moment of weakness wasn't it?

Summary
The room looks like a cell.
Too clean. Too white. A simulation of comfort. Yet, enclosed in a kind of glass box, too big to hold a bed and a few basic things: it's a complete room with a metal door.
And in the centre, sitting in a simple chair, is a man.
