Trafalgar tilted his head in Ace’s direction. “The terrible fashion sense or the abs?”
Ace barked a laugh at the blunt query. Of all the people Trafalgar knew, Ace always seemed to appreciate his dry sense of humor the best. And though he’d never admit it, he always found pleasure in someone laughing at his jokes.
“Both,” Ace decided after a beat of contemplation. “Though our friend group has an abnormally high percentage of worthy abs, if I do say so myself.” He flexed his own for emphasis and wiggled his eyebrows. Law gave a hum of agreement.
“I think I prefer flamingo pants. Though that chick isn’t bad, either.”
Law grimaced. “You have horrible taste.”
Ace bumped his shoulder, grinning deviously. “Oh, so it’s the heart shirt for you, huh? Why don’t you go say hi.”
Trafalgar ignored him.
“Oh, come on, Law. We practically had to drag you here in the first place you’ve been so buried in MCAT study guides. Why not loosen up and have a little fun?”
