Summary
The Hypercar Touring Series, a first-of-its-kind racing series that will pit the fastest prototype racing cars against one another across 24 international races, is about to begin its inaugural season.
Suletta Samaya, a 23-year-old with little experience on the international stage, has been named the 2nd driver for Vanadis Motorsports, a McLaren factory team that has made its name in the World Endurance Championship, with her sister, Ericht Samaya, as the reigning champion.
24-year-old Lynn, a brand-new name in motorsports, turned heads when she was named the 2nd driver for Peugeot's Peil Racing, an analytics-driven team with lofty plans and Elan Ceres, a decorated veteran, in the 1st seat.
Both are unheralded 2nd drivers with teammates that are championship favorites. They're eager to prove themselves on the track, but will they find something off it as well?

I don’t know. Do you usually talk to the journal/diary thing like it’s a person? Do I just talk to myself? How the hell is this supposed to work? Maybe this was a stupid idea after all.
But I know if I don’t put something down Mort will get pissed with me at giving up. Maybe not outwardly, but with like, that look of disappointment in her eyes that she always gets whenever I tell her I don’t want to fly Trudi or tinker on some stupid gadget or even see some of my pals in the Resistance. Or even talk to them, I guess.
I don’t know. I guess I’ll try it out so she doesn’t try to guilt me or whatever again, so… Here goes, I guess."In an effort to help Rivet recover from her tragic accident, the Morts gift Rivet a journal to write her thoughts down to help manage her emotions and depression.
Little would Rivet know that she would find it a valuable escape and trusted companion to chronicle and reflect all her life's events, like her journey to recovery, making new friends while taking down Emperor Nefarious, and dealing with confusing new feelings for a certain other Lombax.
