Another fantastic story for the archives. 9/10 for me.
This story has its focus and it is a splendid romance. Akane and Ranma growing up and spending a long time apart make it ever more important for them to say what they mean, otherwise they might not get the chance to correct things. Plus, having Akane and Ranma be there for each other throughout crucial points of their childhood makes their bond all that more natural.
My one hang up is not seeing the aftermath of Ukyo’s appearance in this story, but that’s a small detail. She appears, stirs things up a little bit, and exits stage left before things worsen out of her control. It’s fine, but it is a small hole to poke my finger through.
Overall though, this story delivers on its presence and doesn’t stumble over it. So it’s good to go all the way!

A wonderful 10/10 story!
Ranma going into a spiral after the Saffron arc is played very well and I love how Akane helps him heal. The art brings it to another level, especially as reminders of how Ranma’s lack of sleep and spiraling affects him. But also the soft looks Ranma and Akane give each other is just chef’s kiss.
This story deserves to be up there for everyone. If you can stomach the lows before the highs, then please take the time to read this story. And if you need more fluff, the second half of this story has it in spades.

Summary
“Isn’t it cute how much Ranma likes you?”
Akane almost drops the kettle she’s setting on the stove. She should have seen it coming, of course, as Kasumi often says these kinds of weird things. That’s why she doesn’t help her in the kitchen as much anymore: Kasumi says something about Ranma, it leaves a sour taste in her mouth, and it never makes any sense.
With the side of her eyes, she observes Kasumi cutting onions and humming.
“What,” Akane stammers, “do you mean?”
After recieving advice from Kasumi, Akane pays more attention to the way Ranma treats her.

Somewhat of a Werewolf AU with Suletta as a wolf and Miorine as a hunter who fled from high society.
While the pacing is rather fast, the story is still enjoyable as a light read. It follows a similar pattern to the original GWitch but set in a fantasy world. It's still unique with different plot points thanks to its length and setting.
7/10. Enjoyable yet nothing groundbreaking.

Separate Paths is a romance told through letters and warfare.
While Edeleth remains the focus, this fic also highlights the connection between Byleth and Sothis, going further than most stories in order to resolve the war without bloodshed (of named/important characters). Edelgard remains herself, prepared to do whatever it takes so the world may work without crests. More importantly, Byleth remains faithful and holds onto the goal of ending the war without bloodshed.
This fic is the perfect length for me. These chapters are at the perfect word count for me. The focus stays between two points: Edeleth and the war. It doesn't deviate to focus solely on one at the detriment at the other. Everything happens at a wonderful pace.
Overall, this is my favorite Edeleth fic. Thank you, wolfraven80.
