    Summary

Torbek has never been on a date before.

Not for a lack of trying, exactly. It is more that there has never been anyone to go on one with. And no, Clementine does not count. For one thing, she was not real. For another, she only ever existed in his head, where things were always easier and never asked anything of him.

At least, Torbek is fairly certain this is his first. He tries to think back, just in case, but nothing comes to mind. Who would have liked him enough to ask? Or to say yes?

He had not even expected Frost to be interested. He still is not entirely sure he understands why he is.

A collection of dates between Frostbek during various scenes and battles. 5 times Torbek and Frost go all out + 1 time they don't

    Summary

Torbeks braced on his hands above him, knees sunk into the snow on either side of Frost, looming awkwardly above him, long hair dusted white and eyes bright with laughter. Frost lies flat on his back, stunned, chest rising and falling fast, snow clinging to his whiskers and shoulder.

When the snow falls from the sky and gets caught in Torbek's fur, it appears brilliant and soft. In stark contrast to how dirt had accumulated so deeply during their first meeting, white on the blonde fur of his lover.

The Krew enjoy a snowday, Frostbek have yet another first.

    Summary

He traces the line of the tiger's jaw with Torbek's eyes, memorizing the softness, along with the pattern that follows his fur. He watches because all he has else to do is wait.
    And he will.
    He will wait.

The Other has thoughts on Torbek and Frost's relationship. Mostly, he has thoughts on Frost.

    Summary

Frost turns to him fully, and though he had glowed in the firelight below, he’s so much softer in the lamplight here. The shadows catch against the curve of his jaw, the glimmer of his eyes. “I thought you would have taken a little longer with the others, if I am to be honest. You seemed immersed.”

Torbek shakes his head quickly, almost frantically, and steps inside, closing the door with too much care. “Noooo. Torbek was… Torbek was distraaaaacted.” His ears twitch forward, then fold back, ashamed at the honesty. He chews the inside of his cheek, then blurts, quieter, “Didn’t waaaaaaant to waste time down theeeeeere when Frost was up heeeeere.”

Continuation fic of last fic, thinking 1-2k words of them being soft and cuddling. Torbek gets to be a little bit of a creep though, as a treat.

    Summary

The warmth was everywhere. Twined through his legs, wrapped low around his waist, pressed firm against his back and shoulders. Not suffocating nor restraining. All-encompassing. A blanket, maybe? But thicker, solid.

It took him perhaps longer than it should have to understand why.

Waking tangled with Torbek leaves Frost restless; the missing pieces weigh too heavy. This time, he can’t avoid the conversation they’ve both been circling.

    Summary

The first time Torbek gets a hug from Frost; first hug in general for years; is after a long day. Worn thin, tubing pulling at his fur and chaffing away at the tolerance he’d built surrounding them. A familiar but not quite the same sort of burn under his skin, sharp and bright. Acid, almost. Charring and cooking, but it doesn’t.

    Torbek would know the difference.

But, of course, just as Torbek had trained himself to notice everything about his friends, his friends have noticed him. Frost, specifically; because who else of them would care enough to even look?

And Frost was looking, a soft and steady expression on his face every time Torbek turned to look at him. The same look as in the Inn, or the night the tabaxi gave Torbek back his coat. Patches cleaned and navy trim sewn into the hem. Frost was reading him despite Torbeks–admittedly weak-efforts to keep himself unreadable.

His pain is embarrassing, the ache unreasonable, and his exhaustion unrealistic.

    Frost sees it anyway.

4 times Frost hugs Torbek and 1 time Torbek hugs Frost.

    Summary

There's a moment of silence after everyone has gone to their tents.

Torbek has about three shirts that he wears with relative frequency. Two pairs of slacks. An old shabby and barely put together pair of shorts. A trenchcoat (or, that's what Frost assumes it is, as it's ripped to all hell) held together in patches clearly sewn with hands too big.

Clothing is a gift. A right. A form of culture. A piece of a person.

It makes Frost a little nauseous, knowing that all Torbek has left of something so tied to identity is scraps and stains. Something so entirely personal, reduced to what survival dictates should stay. It wouldn’t be that difficult to mend what’s there, or to make something new for him. Frost hasn’t given Torbek much aside from his commentary yet, has he?

His desire to do, to make, something for Torbek has nothing to do with the fire within him.

    Not at all.

    Still, it burns brightly.

Frost stays up past his watch (again). Fixes Torbek’s coat. And thinks far too much (again).

    Summary

Frost looks good when he’s focused like this. Eyebrows knit, mouth soft, the rhythm of his breathing slow and even. Torbek doesn’t know much about dowsing. Doesn’t even know if he believes in it. But he believes in Frost believing in it. That’s almost the same thing, isn’t it?

    Frost believed in him.

    Torbek watches Frost.

    Summary

There was a time, at the start of their journey together, when Frost felt so out of place among his friends that he thought of himself as expendable. Knew he was expendable. Even when they were just coworkers.
He hasn’t felt that way in a long time.
    Or—hadn’t, rather.
He watches Torbek run around with Gricko and Hootsie while Gideon and Kremy laugh from the sidelines, and suddenly those feelings of inadequacy return.
He doesn’t know what to do with himself.

A Morning Frost character study because he deserves it. Frost develops a crush, doesn't understand that's what's going on, and uses his feelings as a catalyst for his doubts and insecurities. Not very Frostbek-focused, but it’s there.

    Summary

Astarion can't seem to find his favourite shirt. He doesn't remember ever even taking it out of the closet-- but he must have

"Hells, he didn’t even want to wear it anymore– he just wanted to see it– to know where it was.

“Please, let it be there,” he muttered under his breath, to himself, though he already knew where it would be—sitting in that hamper, likely washed and forgotten, just like everything else left behind in Gale’s study. It really had to be. He couldn’t imagine it being anywhere else.

He creaked open the door to the library, stepping into the room and closing the door behind himself and–

    Oh."

    Summary

“Hey Marinette” he said with a soft smile, scooting to the side so that if Marinette wanted to, she could sit next to him. “What are you doing out this late?”

She smiles, “I was going for a walk, school has been pretty hectic recently, I, Uh, saw you sitting here and I thought I’d go and say hi!” She says, throat was taught, like normal, when she spoke to him. And ‘hi’ most definitely not what she first said to him here, but he wasn’t going to comment on it.

“What are you doing out so late, A-Adrien?” She moved and sat down next to him, bag clutched against her lap.

He hums, facing away from her for a moment. Marinette was always the person he could be honest with, both as Chat and as himself, he could talk to her.

“I was feeling-“ he huffs, leaning back against the bench. “I was feeling claustrophobic, I guess. Just wanted out, didn’t really think of where I was going, ended up here.”
