Rumi crawled into the nest before drawing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms tight around herself while the toy lay there sinfully among the fabrics, mocking her with its presence. She wouldn’t use it. No way. The embarrassment still burned hot in her veins—how could they hand her that thing like it was no big deal?
Minutes stretched into what felt like hours. The room grew warmer, or maybe it was just her—but the heat coiled tighter, making her shift uncomfortably. Her eyes kept drifting to that cursed toy, curiosity gnawing at her.
What harm could looking do? Just… looking.
With a frustrated huff, Rumi took it into her hands. The surface was smooth, almost silky, and when her fingers brushed over the swirls, they began to glow softly as if responding to her touch. A shiver ran down her spine, mirroring the glow of the patterns dancing across her skin. She held it closer, examining the entrance—the spot designed for… well, for her.
