Often it feels like Viktor’s got a natural talent for pushing people away, friends becoming acquaintances becoming strangers. But Jayce, by sheer stubbornness alone, is so far the exception to this rule. When Viktor’s texts remain unanswered, Jayce always replies. When Viktor’s head feels full and dark, Jayce lightens it.
