Okay, putting it that way does make Din's reaction understandable. Greef had worded it better.

Steve ducked out of his car and hesitantly handed Eddie a chain, "Mrs. McCoy has been making these charms for me since the Starcourt Mall attack."
Having picked up on Steve's earlier hesitation, Eddie made sure to be extra gentle with the chain and the charms attached to it. He raised an amused brow, "How many lucky charms does one person need?"
"They're not all mine. I mean I bought them, but each one of those little shits got their own charm."

"The only reason I haven't thrown you overboard is cause for some fuckin' reason Stede is fond of you-" Ed's eye twitched when Treasure purred at that, "-but make no mistake feline, my priorities lay with Stede and I will stop at nothin' to save him."
Treasure cocked her head to the side with an expression that clearly conveyed both pity and if Ed is translating it correctly: 'how dramatic does one need to be?'
