There used to be some witches who lacked a bile sack, they weren't human, but they had a way of using magic that most witches couldn't do.

But those kinds of witches disappeared a long time ago, though there was always the expectation of someone with a recessive gene to be born a bloodwitch. Emperor Belos declared that if that ever happened, they should be brought upon him because due to the Titan warning him of their danger. He claimed that they were against the Titan's will.
Edalyn Clawthorne had a baby thanks to a one night stand. She couldn't remember who they were, but the second she was born, something more unbelieveable happened.
Luz Clawthorne was a bloodwitch, she avoided talking to anyone in the demon realm that wasn't her mother, brother or Hooty. That was her family, who swore they'd take her secret to the grave.
