Honestly, there were very few things that Zuko disliked about poetry, and even then, disliked was a strong word.
That, however, changed pretty quickly into the semester.
Zuko had never met anyone who was more of a menace than Sokka–this out of control boomerang-obsessed kid.
No matter what style they read or talked about, Sokka found ways to bring math into it. No matter what poem they read, he found ways to interpret them in the most ridiculous (and not even in a creative-ridiculous way) ways imaginable.
Zuko used to believe there was no wrong interpretation of poetry, but Sokka proved him wrong real quick.

He Xuan looked away clicking his tongue while Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan seemed delighted, Hua Cheng looked as if every vein in his body was about to burst if he didn't laugh.
"Quan Yizhen what are you doing here?" Yn Yu asked absolutely dumbfounded that he would sit in the middle of friends who don't know him from Adam.
"Waiting for you to finish eating so I can ask you out again".
