For a moment, Morro simply laughed with relief. After all that trouble, Lloyd was finally gone, and the Green Gi belonged to him. He could rest easy, knowing he had proven himself to be the better ninja. For a moment, it was all worth it.
Perhaps one day he would appreciate that the story didn't end there.

Morro may not have been able to defeat the ninja, but he did escape capture. Now they wait, dreading the day he will inevitably return for vengeance. However, Cole is surprised when he appears suddenly on the Night of the Departed, merely asking to see Sensei Wu. Cole's already got a grudge against one ghost tonight, and he's willing to fight both Morro and Yang if he has to. Because if there's one thing he knows for sure it's that Morro can't be trusted... can he?

Summary
Since the start of the tournament, Skylor's friends had been telling her that she wasn't like her father. But what if they were wrong? What if she was actually so much like him that she had tricked them into thinking she was different?
The more Skylor thought about it, the more she could remember times when she had sought power over others. When she had joined the team on their first mission, she had immediately tried to assume command. She had given orders without hardly any regard for their well-being. And during the tournament, she had manipulated Kai just to win one round. And now she had tried to kill her own father in the name of vengeance.
Maybe she really was as bad as her father.

Misako came and placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's your choice, Skylor. You can tell them yourself, or you can wait. We won't say anything. But know that the truth will come out eventually, whether you're ready for it or not."
Skylor didn't think she would ever be ready to let her past and present come together. But how much worse would it be if she waited?
Skylor sucked in a deep breath. "He's my dad."

Summary
Both teams stood apart, facing one another, while the roars of the dragon began to die down inside the cave. It echoed from within the fissure, a dark hostile line scored through the earth, warning each ninja to stay on their own side.
Skylor was the first to speak. "This isn't over. We still want that scythe."
The red ninja, Kai, scoffed. "I'd like to see you try and take it from us."
"We'll let you go this time," said the black ninja. The lower half of his mask was stained and Skylor could see a bit of red smeared in the gap under his eyes. She felt a twinge of satisfaction. "But this is a warning," he continued. "If you cross us again, we won't go easy on you."

Dark Sides is a Role Reversal AU series in which Wu was bitten by the Great Devourer instead of Garmadon. Wu still ends up training Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole as his students. In response, Sensei Garmadon trains Nya, Pixal, Seliel, and Skylor (all elemental masters), and both sides are pitted against each other.

Summary
When Jake Lockley successfully hijacks the body from that dick Marc and that cringe nerd Steven he knows everything is going to start going his way. Killing people, joining up with loser superhero teams, and making Khonshu happy is all in a day's work for the most competent and talented alter.
Freedom's just another word for a worried wife, suspicious friends, and a rebellious alter, but it's worth it. Everybody is going to see Jake Lockley, and he won't let Marc or Steven get in the way of his starring role in his brand new life.
Turns out that it's easier to kill people than live with them. But chill out. Everything's going to be fine. Right?
