It’s true enough, they suppose, and it was what’d get Evbo off their case the fastest. (Worked like a charm, in that sense.) Enough of their old life as a medic bleeds through to them now, even after months of cold desert winds have eroded most of their empathy. The old champion—the Parkour Villain, they suppose they should call it—would kill, and kill indiscriminately, and Ally does not want anyone else to die.

Icy blue eyes peered out from behind a dirt-stained hand, reminding Dick of a different time, a different alley-found kid who was taken too soon. He's met children like this before, wary of adults or the world around them in general, only relying on themselves at an age where they can't do enough to keep their heads above water. Blinking rapidly at the thought to hold back his tears, Dick remembered when Jason first came to the manor. Even as distant as he was with his brother at the time, he saw how the pre-teen acted out of self preservation even months into Alfred's mother-henning.
The small child in front of Dick startled when the vigilante spoke, kneeling on the sludge-covered alleyway. "Hi, my name's Nightwing. Are you okay, kiddo?"
A weary snarl distorted the youthful face, dirty black bangs hanging limply, obscuring the icy glare pointed Dick's way. "What's it to you, weirdo?"

Yeah, that's it. Dick's officially got Bruce's adoption genes. This sassy kid's coming home with him, no matter what.

Summary
In Parkour Civilization, even death was parkour. It was a level entirely its own, and one most never wanted to reach. An impossible level. An unmoving level.
Worse than prison. Worse than starvation. Worse than failure. Seawatt was stuck in place eternally. And in that way, he was the closest anyone could get to Evbo.
Godhood was lonely. Death was lonelier. They found company in each other, somehow, despite it all.

As a god, Evbo is the only one who can interact with Seawatt's ghost. They both have their own problems to work through, but it's a little easier with some company.

Summary

Despite receiving disdain from many in his Clan, he still seeks to press on. He wants nothing more than to live the life of a typical warrior, fighting for his clan, finding love, making friends, and serving properly.
However, as he learns more about the past, as things slowly get worse, he starts fighting against his own morals. After all, who gets to deem what's 'right'? Can he truly achieve his goals, if he follows the limits others impose?
Will it all be worth it in the end?

There’s a world out there somewhere where Nimona returned, and he just has to find it. And if he’s hoping to replicate the events that led to it, that’s no one’s business but his own.
