He looked to the Lady in front of him, who had dubbed herself ‘Ladybug’. She was an enigma. And he could only help but wonder, what did she want?
The cynical part of him went straight to his crown, or soon-to-be crown. But his instincts told him that there was something else. There was an opportunistic gleam in her eyes, different from the other nobles he had spoken to so far. Something that told him she was here on business. And after years of spying on his fathers’ royal meetings, that was a look he recognised well.
She opened her mouth to speak, the hushed words she uttered taking him back.
"You wouldn’t happen to know Chat Noir personally, would you?"
