Hongjoong had started developing a bad habit - fantasising about things like kissing Wooyoung when he pouts, and holding his hands when he flaps them around while talking, or falling to his knees to worship him when he dries the sweat on his face with his tshirt after dancing, exposing that one sliver of skin that haunts Hongjoong in his sleep. Hongjoong crossed the line in his own mind - and thus decided to punish himself by removing himself from the situation altogether.

When his mother had cried, when his baby brother had climbed into his lap silently, too young to understand what was wrong with Wooyoung but old enough to get it was something bad, when Jongho would only look at him with wide terrified eyes like he didn’t know who he was, when Mingi had refused to leave his side for even a second and screamed at anyone who tried to convince him to do so, when Hongjoong of all people had cried….. he knew he had to stop.
The problem was that he just didn't want to.
