The first contact was forever seared into Frankenstein's memory. He could still remember the first exquisite brush of pain, touching something that should never come in contact with the human body or mind. It was scorching, insidious poison that melted his skin until it sloughed, burning everything away and forming Frankenstein anew. The pain reverberated through his body, resonating with his heart, entwining with his mind, until it was threaded into every fiber of his being, a constant companion that would never, ever leave him.
It wanted him. No, not “it.” This thing was made up of thousands and thousands of beings, voices, spirits, a crushing mass, a flood of existence. They wanted him to join their throng, their intense desire suffocating him, clutching him in their thorny embrace.

“so you do!” eijirou gently took the ring from katsuki, undid the wrapping and gave it a small lick.
