I read this a while back, but after time passed I read it again on a whim. I never realized it would be so relieving? Initially when I read it in 2022, I was in bed speed reading tons of fics in the JJK fandom. I skimmed though it, and thought “how cute” then moved on to the next. However, as I progressed in the manga and eventually the anime, I recently only again went back to read something without somber tones. And then I found this again. Honestly, without the author meaning to, I cried. I know this is a modern themed AU, but the thought of Yuuji comforting as well as giving support to characters that deserve the love and affection that fans (and by extension myself) give to these to these characters and also having Yuuji himself be loved hurt so much in the best way possible. This fic is short, sweet, and heartwarming. Really, this is the best comfort fic there is in the JJK fandom.
