Summary
When she looked up, she saw Rumi and Zoey standing at another car, doors open. They both got in without any lingering gazes and Mira started to breathe again, though her eyes could see Rumi's tense face in the side mirror.
"I saw them talking to you. Who were they?" Her partner's voice was warm, curious, inviting Mira to share.
Her wrist throbbed like an alarm, and Mira replied, "Don't know. Helped me fill out the paperwork. Didn't get their names."
"How kind of them." Honey in her voice. It made the scrap of paper hidden in Mira's sleeve itch her skin.
Or, Mira meets two women in the emergency room and tries to pass her injuries off as an accident. They see right through her. They become a life line.

god—the way rumi kisses her so passionately and full of intent, like she's the last thing rumi will ever get to taste, makes mira’s legs shake. it drives her crazy, the way rumi’s unashamed desire for her in turn ramps her own desire up.
“okay,” mira whispers agreeably against rumi, feeling the way the other woman's lips twist into a coy smile, canines catching on mira’s plush skin as they extend into their full and curved length in the blink of an eye.
half of her almost questions just what rumi means by eat. if she had any functioning brain cells left, she might just make rumi pause and take a deep breath, just to reset. but rumi’s eagerness—predatory in nature—renders all logical thoughts entirely obsolete.

Zoey sets the glass down on the kitchen island, sighing at the cool relief down her throat. Condensation slides down the glass, and Zoey’s only warning that she isn’t alone is the reflection of twin golden orbs.
It flickers before disappearing altogether.
Huh? Zoey’s brows furrow slowly in confusion.
Zoey turns around—only to shriek as something heavy pounces on her figure. Something rough and wet laps at her cheek, startling Zoey even further from the sudden stimulation against her bare skin. She squirms on the cool marble floor, panicked noises spilling out of her until she… hey, wait a minute—“R-Rumi?!”
“Mhrrph? I mean… hiiii, Zoey.” Bright golden eyes stare down at her, amusement swirling in those gleaming pools. The moonlight from the tall windows reflects in Rumi’s eyes, giving her an eerily beautiful glow that matches her patterns. Her tail sways back and forth behind her, a leisurely gesture that shows off Rumi’s playful nature.

Summary
Everything changed in a second. Zoey was staring into the void at the end of the hall one moment. Then she blinked. Suddenly everything was cast in darkness. Zoey looked around, finding herself not in the living room anymore. She was standing in darkness. When Zoey tried looking back to where the hallway had been, she was met with a pair of golden eyes staring back at her.
They were disembodied, floating yellow eyes with slitted black pupils that were clearly looking at her. Zoey’s eyes grew wide as she realized that she might be in danger now. What she had said wasn’t too offensive, sure a little forward, but it’s not like she’d been terribly rude to the entity. Those eyes stared back at her with an intensity that made her swallow, her throat suddenly felt dry.
And then the shape of the eyes changed. The corners of them curved up, as if the entity was smiling at her. Smiling with its eyes. It made Zoey gasp in surprise. Taken aback by the situation she found herself in.

“Okay, but like. Have you ever read Undertale fanfiction?” Both Rumi and Mira stare blankly at her. “I’m taking that as a no. But if those fanfictions were correct, and fanfiction is rarely ever wrong, then getting your soul fondled probably feels really good.”
Rumi’s jaw drops.
Zoey smiles. “C’mon, Rumes, jerk my soul off.”
“What?!”
“Zoey, it’s a ball of light,” Mira says confidently, like she knows at all what she’s talking about. “I doubt you can even stroke it.”
As if that is at all the biggest problem with the suggestion. "Guys, please—"

When a masked killer shows up and starts brutally butchering her companions, it quickly becomes clear that she has been cast as the final girl archetype in this entire ordeal, much to her own confusion and horror.
Confusion, as she has had a lot of kinky gay sex and as such is certainly not a virtuous virgin, destined to survive.
Horror, as she realizes this means that the killer is dead set on hunting down Rumi and Zoey. Which she would allow over her dead fucking body.

Summary
The voice was rich, leathery, and smooth, a controlled belt from the chest of the woman on stage. Mira imagined she could see the concentration in the woman’s closed eyes and furrowed brow, if the stage lights weren’t hitting her from behind, shrouding her in a golden silhouette.
Every bar was effortless. Every note an odyssey.
Mira looked at Zoey. The girl was just as transfixed. More so than Mira, even. But then, Zoey’s attunement to the Honmoon was much stronger than Mira’s. Zoey often said the Honmoon kind of felt like the Ocean from Moana. Mira had never seen it so she had to take Zoey’s word for it.
The Honmoon rippled.

Mira and Zoey are looking to relax and unwind after months of helping Celine at auditions in search of the missing link to their trio. They don't expect to find her working at a nightclub with her patterns on full display.
