Summary
Marinette was expecting her school year to consist of escaping from Chloe's constant bullying. Instead she saves the hero Chat Noir from the super villain Coccinelle and is graced with the powers of a Butterfly to protect the people of Paris. As amazing as these powers may be, the stress amplifies and Marinette must adapt to her new life lest her new wings break under this heavy burden.

Marinette:
Why can't Adrien Agreste just leave me alone? Something's not right about him and that identical cousin of his! Ever since they started attending school, my instincts have been telling me to keep my distance. And dealing with his flirting while helping Kagami cope with his cousin takes up so much of my energy. I don't understand why so many people - even Alya to an extent - think Adrien and I would be a good couple!
Besides, I'm also trying to fight off an attraction to Cat Noir, one of Paris's local rogues. AND I'm starting to get presents in odd places. Kagami, too. What's going on?!
Adrien:
I wish she'd give me the time of day. Ever since my cousin, Félix, and I started attending school, I've had my heart set on asking Marinette Dupain-Cheng out. And the fact that Félix has the hots for her friend, Kagami, doesn't hurt, either. But every time, something comes up or she makes an excuse to decline. I don't know what I did to make Marinette so wary around me, but it hurts every time. There's gotta be something I can do to win her heart!
The fact that she seems more receptive to my flirting when I'm Cat Noir is giving me an idea, though...
