Now, Pawbert is in jail regretting and missing his life he had. Can his actions be forgiven? And if it could, who will forgive him? Maybe, his past partner, a snake who believed in him all along could be the one to save Pawbert from his family, and change him for the better.

It has been months since the Lynxleys have been imprisoned and reptiles were welcomed back into Zootopia, and Gary's days have never been busier as he takes on the role of Reptile Ambassador in a city where peace between mammals is already hard enough to stabilise. Now that some of the dust has settled, it was about time he set out to find some semblance of closure with a certain Lynxley who, strangely enough, he still considers a partner.

Summary
It's been 3 months since the Lynxley family was revealed to be a bunch of dirty, lying felines who had stolen the credit for the founding of Zootopia, from the snake, Agnes De'Snake. Reptile Ravine has just recently reopened, and the reptile community within Marsh Market is flourishing.
Inside his new home, Gary De'Snake finds himself with too much time and quiet to think. He's missing a warmth he wasn't even sure was real to begin with. He thinks about the hands that held him warmly, and the same hands that threw him into the cold to die.
Pawbert Lynxley sits in a cell trying not to let his mind tear itself apart, thinking of the time ago when he had the temporary comfort of a strange reptile, and the option to betray his own plan in order to keep it. Instead, he followed through, in order to gain approval from a father who might then love him. And now, he had neither.

What if it happened differently?
Pawbert chose to be good, saving Judy, Gary, and all of reptilian kind. He was forced to live and erase the mistakes made by his father. He is soon "hired" by a very broke detective, Christopher Rudolph, who had recently been kicked out of his hometown due to not being the best at paying taxes. With him moving to Tundra Town, he hopes to live a better life of mystery, detective work, and lots of monetary opportunities.
