His back ached, his calves were screaming, his ankles felt about ready to give out by now, but still he pressed on. He needed to make it to the top of the mountain, he couldn’t wait any longer. He’d heard rumors about there being an opening at the top of the mountain, an opening that led to the underground where all the monsters had been sealed. The barrier prevented monsters from escaping, but that didn’t mean that humans couldn’t enter, or at least Sam hoped that was the case. But he couldn’t afford to be wrong, he was running out of time…

Perhaps this was a good sign. A step in the right direction and away from his downwards spiral of uuuggghhhh. Because the way Mettaton saw it, he now had one of two options.
One: retreat to the lukewarm comforts of a lumpy couch until he became one with the cushions and waited until the inevitable heat death of the universe collapsed onto him to finally end the soul-crushing boredom.
Or two: watch whatever the hell was on his newly acquired TV.
Alone and bored to death, Mettaton looks for a way to pass the time while the Internet is down. Good news, he does. Bad news... uh, it’s totally normal to want to kiss your recently acquired TV, right? (asking for a friend, haha...)

Except for one book. A legitimate witch’s grimoire randomly showing up in my dad’s inheritance after I accidentally killed him with an unlucky throw of a beer bottle.
On the verge of death, I tried a reincarnation ritual I remembered from it’s pages, but somehow, it’s landed me inside the head of some random baby and her deadly, insane, masochistic family. Child services, I know we’ve had our differences, but please save my little sister and I!!!
