Summary
In the end, it had just been one lucky shot.
After a fateful final battle at the Ark, Megatron suffers critical injuries and is cast into space. To the surprise of both the Autobots and Decepticons, he returns as Galvatron, orders a full retreat, and then disappears with his forces into the depths of space.
For the Autobots, it’s peace at last and what seems like victory. Celebration turns to struggle as they try to figure out how to live in a world where they don’t need to fight.
For the Decepticons, it’s a mysterious new project that has them working ‘til their gears strip. Galvatron is hiding something, and very few have faith in their new leader.
Optimus is receiving strange visions from the Matrix. Soundwave is suspicious of Galvatron’s true intentions. Everyone is tired. Unicron is hungry. Cliffjumper just wants someone to get his name right.
