“I don’t skate,” Jax said with a purposeful air of indifference. “It’s unbefitting of my masculine persona.”
Pomni snorted.
“Don’t or can’t?”
“Third option: won’t!”
He punctuated his sentence with a light flick to the jester's forehead.
“Alright.”
She sighed dramatically, throwing her hands, and the skates, in the air in defeat. She started skating towards the rink entrance and called back towards the booth.
“I guess I’ll just go skate with Ragatha and Kinger then, have fun moping!”
Jax’s ear twitched in annoyance. Before his brain could catch up with him, he’d already bolted out of his seat and snatched the roller skates from Pomni’s raised hand.
“Fine! If you insist.”

"So let me get this straight, you're saying we're trapped in a circus where a sentient AI controls everything. And, according to you, I've been here for years but don't remember any of it because I have 'amnesia'." Jax does air quotes with his fingers. "Did I miss anything?"
"No, you pretty much summed it up."
An episode 6 canon divergence in which a bathroom confrontation during the awards show causes Pomni to make a difficult choice and Jax to lose his memories of the circus.
Friendship, betrayal, and feelings ensue as Jax tries to piece together the nature of his relationship with Pomni, who struggles to reconcile this endearingly open version of him with the one who doesn't let himself feel anything.

Pomni doesn't remember what the cast has sacrificed for this calm adventure, because cramping up in a car like sardines in a tin can can't qualify as calm in the slightest. Car rides are stressful, touchy, worse with this kind of ensemble.
Eight hours. Eight hours stuck on Jax's lap.
This campsite cannot come any faster.

Neil hated Bring Your Child to Work Day, particularly when Eva wasn't even bringing her own child, and it wasn't actually Bring Your Child to Work Day. But Eva was his friend, and if he had to babysit the brat on his birthday, Neil would do it.
Except a nine year old turns out to be way more perceptive than Neil would have thought.

“But first!” Hizashi raises one finger-- or is it two? He squints. Huh, maybe more like four-- maybe that’s just his whole hand, “We need more alcohol!”
He then proceeds to walk towards the door, only to crash against the coffee table and fall flat on his face.

Hizashi and Nemuri get together for a night of harmless fun and drinks. Bad decisions are made. Drunk texts are sent. Bad decisions are then (poorly) fixed with even more bad decisions. Aizawa needs a hug.
