Aloy has always been ruthless. Crass. Her life has demanded that from her ever since she can remember. It’s the way its always meant to be, she figures, her knuckles bloody and teeth bared until she dies.
It’s… strange, because even with all those things himself, Erend is also kind— putting anyone before him no matter what the stakes were. His kindness bled through in every interaction and moment they share, and Aloy can even see it when he talks to the others, bringing their guard down with an easy smile.
