Lena tries very hard not to be affected by that, or by the adorable red line the ball cap leaves on the woman’s forehead.
“Hi! I’m Kara. James said your Porsche gave out?”
OR
Needing to get away from the stress of her job for a few months, Lena buys a summer lake house in the most remote town she can find. She fully intends on keeping to herself, resting, and interacting as little as possible with the locals.
Until her car breaks down, and the town mechanic happens to be the hottest woman she’s ever seen.

Summary
Jessica Hoang takes her job very seriously. It’s odd, or uncommon, as she’s learned- people are always so surprised when she seems more loyal to Lena Luthor than the advancement of her own career. She used to think that the whole trope of secretaries selling out their bosses for personal gain existed only in bad TV shows, but, as always, she overestimates the human race.
So when Kara Danvers the reporter starts showing up more often, she’s wary and a little irritated. Yes, Lena said to let her in at any time, so she does so dutifully, but she’s seen her share of reporters and she’s not impressed with the bunch. Words are their trade, and it wouldn’t take much to motivate a reporter to twist Lena’s image around for a pretty buck.

But tonight was for homework, and Lydia had promised to keep her hands to herself as she had stood at the threshold to Stiles' bedroom and held her hand right hand up, her left hand placed upon a copy of her AP bio textbook. Which had meant hours of no kissing, hours of wanting to kiss, and hours of staring at the boy who made her so insatiable that it sometimes astounds her that she is able to get anything done when he is in the same room.

It’s not her fault that she’s excitable, okay, and she forgets things sometimes and maybe those things should not be forgotten under any circumstances. Maybe those things include, well, housing forms, which as it turns out are super important to submit on time if she wants to not be homeless on her sophomore year of college.
Her sister’s going to give her so much crap about this.
