Summary
Johnny’s knee injury forces him to leave the military behind, leading him to a new life in forensic science. His new job introduces him to Ghost–the serial killer who leaves a trail of corpses in his wake, and who seems to have taken quite a liking to Johnny.

“We’re ready for you,” a female voice cuts out. Soap turns to go first, leaving the circle and going out ahead of Graves as the Texan moves past them. The look he sends them is venomous, and he even dares blow a kiss in Ghost’s general direction.
Keegan doesn’t move, and neither does König.
“Simon?” the Austrian asks.
“Give me a moment,” Ghost manages to croak out, turning around and looking for that half drunk plastic water bottle with the Repsol Honda logo plastered on it. It’s nowhere to be seen and he panics. He can feel the ash in the back of his throat now, it tastes worse than nicotine and cigarettes, he needs to wash it away or he’s going to-
“Here, take this,” Keegan finally says, prying Ghost’s clenched fist open and dropping a packet of Ducati Ghosts gum in it. “It’ll get the taste out and clear your sinuses, it’s mint. We’ll hold them off for a bit.”(ePub friendly download in author's note!)

Summary
Dragons were an insular, reclusive species. Hunts of old drove them to the brink of extinction, leaving the few remaining clans with a well earned wariness, if not outright fear, of the world at large. They stayed hidden, either far from prying in the wildest regions of the world or in plain sight. Most of the rest of the world knew very little about them, aside from the sparse rumors and folklore that remain from days of old, and the clans were happy to keep it that way. The less the outside world meddled in their affairs, the happier they were.
That said, one thing was well known and documented about dragons: possessiveness was written in their blood.
Or, John "Soap" MacTavish is a dragon. Task Force 141 is his hoard. This changes everything, and nothing at all.

Summary
Simon Riley, captain of the Manchester Soldiers, is one of the best goal scorers in the entire premier league. For some reason, however, he cannot score a goal against John MacTavish to save his life. It's driving him a little mad at this point.
When John gets booted from his team for a "breach of contract" Simon does his best to be professional, to welcome his new goalie. That's what good captains do. It's just a shame MacTavish is such an arrogant prick.
