    “What is that.”
    Shen Qingqiu looked up from where he had been focused on petting the pup in his lap, blinking at Liu Qingge where the man stood at the edge of the veranda, glaring.
    “A dog,” he said, brow raised, before he brought his fan up to absently cover his smirk, “You’ve seen one before, I’m sure.”
    Liu Qingge frowned harder; handsome features entirely ruined by the bull-headed temper of their owner.
    “Of course I have. Why is it here?”
    “I don’t remember there being a prohibition on pets.”
    “A pet,” Liu Qingge repeated, suspicious gaze locked on the innocent little puppy as if it would jump up and breath fire at any moment, “For you?Where did you find it?”
    Liu Qingge eyed the beast distrustfully, as if he thought it’s fluffy and sweet demeanor might be part of some larger trap preying upon Shen Qingqiu’s fondness for such things.
    “You worry too much, shidi,” he said, sipping at his tea and turning to watch the tranquil bamboo forest ripple in the faint breeze, “How much trouble could he be?”

    Or, local transmigrator saves a dog and accidentally earns the devotion of a demon king

    After unlocking the System's Official Store feature, Shen Qingqiu is able to purchase a cute plushie of the character Shen Qingqiu for Luo Binghe as a gift. He just didn't expect Luo Binghe to look so adorable taking care of that plushie as if it were his own child.

    “That’s good. Xiao Gongzi is smart” he congratulates him. Shen Yuan feels himself swell with pride. He’s very smart, of course! Mom always tells him so! “My name is Luo Binghe. What is Xiao Gongzi’s name?”
    Shen Yuan wrinkles his nose. He doesn't want to tell him, because he's a stranger, and he shouldn't answer questions from strangers, but he's a beauty stranger-hunter who stopped hunting and listened to Shen Yuan without thinking his ideas were silly just because he was a little boy, and he seems kind, so Shen Yuan has no problem saying:
    “Shen Yuan.”

    ... Shen Yuan has very confusing memories, a lot of knowledge that a six-year-old child should not have and he has no idea where he acquired it, and a new best friend. This new best friend is Luo Binghe, he is the coolest, most powerful and strongest, and promises to help him find his way to home!
    Even if Shen Yuan, in some way inexplicable even to himself, knows he's far, far away from home.
