She laughs at what he says, and laughs at the fortunes she’s given - of all of the mediums and soothsayers she’s visited, none have ever been remotely accurate about her or her future - but it’s fascinating to her, the fact that some things don’t change; from culture to culture, people always want to know what their futures will bring.

- Wilson's Tuxedo Gloves, Don't Starve TogetherMy beloved Jethro_art wrote a fic about a year ago in which Wilson is insecure about his burned hands. I loved this headcanon (and her fic, I thought it as really cute) so much that I always write Wilson with chemical burns. And hey, it's canon according to the Guest of Honor Skin!
Since English is her second language, I offered to help her edit it, but she was so embarrassed she never wanted to look at it again. So I offered to rewrite it for her if she wanted (she did) and per her request, make it a spin-off of my own fic, Smoke and Mirrors

Willow looked at Wilson and began to shake his shoulders. “Wilson, you have to be careful! You fit the fucking criteria! What if you run in with the killer? I don’t want you to end up on the news!”
“Willow, stop!” Wilson snapped. “I’m not gonna end up on the news! I’m always careful of my surroundings!”
“So what?! This killer could be anywhere or anyone!”
The door to the cafe opened and in walked the new regular. Wilson left the counter to serve the man his usual. He turned away but felt the man snatch his wrist. His grip firm and tight. Maxwell was staring at his arm. His free hand trailing up and down it, leaving a wake of goosebumps.
“You have a lovely complexion.” He glanced up at Wilson and gave him an eerie grin. “You know there’s a killer out there hunting pretty boys like you. I would be careful if I were you. You never know where the poacher is hiding.”

In the Constant, roses had always had a specific symbolism. Considering what Maxwell would tell the survivors about the woman on the throne, it wasn't much of a surprise he was being punished by having to cough them up.

Sportacus covered his eyes with an arm and groaned.
His deal had not only been as loose as they could get; he’d practically given the faery a free pass to do as it pleased.
‘I’d give you everything.’
No limits, no negotiations, nothing.
He might as well have done nothing to repair the crystal and wait until he died; he had signed his own death sentence.
