Summary
In a society where marriage is a business and a woman is a means of property, Jean wishes to do as she wishes and become a knight maiden for the kingdom of Mondstadt. Those very dreams are crushed when she is betrothed to the crown prince, Diluc Ragnvindr. However, the very same marriage she thought would cage her is more convoluted than she initially thought and had opened a door of possibilities.

Summary
Diluc felt like he was drowning in a ceaseless ocean of monotone apathy. The loss of his father seemed to dim the colors around him into black and white. But how did Jean, his childhood friend, and the Acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius (of all people), be able to light a spark into his heart? What did she do to him?
His body feels burning hot as an inextinguishable flame of crimson and scarlet rushes through his mind, ceaselessly plaguing his thoughts. He closes his eyes and recalls his story.
