Summary
Somewhere Else, Jon and Martin get another chance at life. But Jon isn't quite human anymore, and he might never be again. This might have spurred him into desperate measures, if it weren't for Martin.
Martin, who is always there for him. Martin, who does so much for him, has sacrificed so much.
Martin, who knows that Jon cannot be trusted.

Summary
Martin may not be happy to be basically half machine, but at least his job is... well, okay, it's also not great, considering his boss only knows how to either glare or stare blankly at him. At least it's relatively uneventful working in what's basically the station's division for 'weird' events, though.
That is, until a bot goes rogue and starts attacking other bots. That alone is plenty weird — but the reason for it is both hard to believe and might put Martin in even more danger.

Summary
Jon may be an Omega, but he takes the pill against those horrible heats, and douses himself in scent blockers. There's no reason for anyone to think of him as anything else than a Beta.
Meanwhile, Martin's Alpha stink is an affront, and Jon wishes the man would stop being so blatantly disrespectful.
Unless the acidic smell isn't caused by Martin looking down on him. Though that's not very likely, now is it.

Summary
Martin has always liked fall traditions, especially Halloween ones. This year, he gets to do them with his boyfriend.
Jon may not turn out to be the biggest fan of carving pumpkins, but he is quite a big enjoyer of everything to do with Martin. And he's quite happy with any fall traditions that take place in front of a cosy fireplace.

Summary
This isn't the first time that Martin has been handed a tool such as this. It feels familiar enough as he turns it in his palm, inspecting the length of hide that flicks dramatically at its end in much the same way that his horse, Nessa – and Jon, for that matter – will swipe their tail from side to side to signal their frustrations. But he was never keen to use a whip of any sort, and would avoid them whenever he could. He's found that the livestock he's cared for on the estate could more often be reasoned with, if one just met them on their level. Maybe a rough and assured hand to guide them when they're frightened, but pain for the sake of it always felt too cruel.
And yet…
“Right, so erm – you want me to hit you?”

Summary
It's a strange sort of surrogacy, what Martin does for Jon: Jon, who can no longer enjoy the act of eating now that what he needs comes from fear; Jon, who misses the thought and comfort of being able to get anything at all from consumption; Jon, who yearns for the feeling of being truly and fully human. But it works, and it's become a routine of sorts for the pair of them.

Summary
After a distressing encounter with the Dark, Jon is left a little out of sorts.
Martin, ever the protector, helps him as they search for a solution, together..
Jon just clung to him, arms wrapping as tightly as they could around his neck with their limited strength, the lethargy running through them bone-deep. He buried his head into Martin’s chest, the leather armor cool and solid against his cheek. Martin tried not to focus on how right it felt, how much his heart pounded against his ribcage as Jon nuzzled into him. How perfectly he fit in his arms, with all the ease of breathing.
Dozing off, feeling safe, Jon heard Martin’s voice come one last time, unerringly soft.
“Alright. Let’s get you home, okay?”
