Neil calls.
Bee calls.
His coach calls.
Only two out of three calls get an answer. Neil sounds pretty adamant in stating he’ll be there soon with a change of clothes and fresh coffee, and Andrew is too tired to put up a fight. Bee, strangely awake before eight, offers to come over but doesn’t push him when Andrew tells her he’ll be fine, that he just needed to hear her “for grounding purposes”. As usual, she doesn’t ask many questions, she just provides a friendly ear, says something that makes Andrew’s heart grow three times bigger and hangs up with the promise of checking up in a couple of hours. A nurse walks in, at some point, spots Andrew resting his chin on Aaron’s pillow, waltzes around monitors, IVs, adjusts some needles and then she walks out, only to turn back on her heels at the very last second with a puzzled look on her all too tired face and her brows slightly furrowed atop of her nose.
“Twins,” Andrew says just to dissipate her questions on the existence of a multiverse.Aaron gets involved in a car crash. His exy superstar slash nearly estranged twin brother is his emergency contact. Can a thirty hours long bedside vigil make up for years of neglected therapy sessions?

Kevin laughs. His laugh is nice too. A warm rumbling chuckle that has no cruelty to it, does not make Aaron feel mocked in the slightest. He scowls anyway. For the principle.
