“What can you do to us?” Acanthis asked, Apollo glanced between the two.
“Well you see, when you mess with fire,” Tommy threw his hands down and fire flared to life below his palms, primed to be used. He saw their mouths open in either awe or shock, but it felt like a drug to Ares.

Jason is a Golden Boy. A perfect kid. No trauma so no healing needed. Although when Will decides to give the Seven (+Nico and Reyna) a group therapy sessions he is forced to open up on useless things. They say that all his feelings matter even though nothing bad has happened to him. Like ever. He hasn't been through Tartarus so what does he have to bring to the table? Maybe he felt as though he was always on a pedestal trying desperately to match what everyone wanted from him and never felt he could be himself. Maybe he has a bit of trust issues from his mom and a few scars here and there. But that's besides the point. He's absolutely fine.
Or in other words, I give Jason the character and backstory that Rick rudely never gave to him. >:(
