Summary
A student suddenly finds themselves falling for someone they aren't suppose to. College has its moments, supposedly the best parties you'll ever go to, but a few students find themselves dealing with more than just the typical stress of college exams. A slow burn college romance. I'll introduce each character per chapter before integrating them entirely or rather- I'll try to do my best with that.

Summary
It had been months since the world had fallen into chaos. The once bustling cities were now hauntingly silent, their streets overrun by the undead.
“You’re acting a little too calm about all this, Jade.” Tori couldn’t move from the corner she currently slumped in. She spoke in a small, quiet voice, not wanting to be too loud.
She was afraid those things would hear her.
“If I’m not calm then who will be?” She said, a tone of urgency in her voice. Tori swallowed hard. Jade’s eyes locked onto Tori’s momentarily, pausing her packing. She watched as Jade adjusted her jaw before going back to her task.
“I have clothes that you can use,” Tori watched the other girl throw comfortable clothes into both packs.
“They’re mostly black,” Jade looked back at her again, giving her a quick once over.
“You’ll live.” The casual banter made Tori feel a bit better — but there was nothing hiding the feeling of fear, no matter how hard you try to ignore it. She could see fear even in the fearless goth girl’s hands, as they shook lightly with every movement. ‘You’ll live’, she repeated in her head. How ironic.
“Jade, I —“
“I know, Vega. I know.” Tori didn’t hear the usual bite in her voice.

I'm glad you're back with another update, I was checking this religiously for an update until the day before you posted lol. Happy you've been re-inspired to write again, was really hoping youd be able to continue this- even if it was a few more months of an update.I love the world building you have so far. As I was reading, I wondered what happened to Cat and if she was part of the other group. I honestly forgot if you mentioned her in the first chapter, but seeing how she wasn't mentioned in their little fire-gate guard talk, I am thinking if she's part of the other surviving group. The slow push and pull of Toru and Jade is just the right amount my little heart can take right now. It's on the cusp of admission of always having unlocked feelings for the other and knowing that there was something there- inexplicable all along. I'm interested in Mal's whole role in here. Is she going to be the trigger that pushes Jade over the edge to admit how she really feels about Tori or is it just going to be jealously laced with a typical Jade response fashion that she won't explain? Just so many questions. Anyway, another great chapter. Keep up the work! Many kudos!!!
And if you ever get a writers block again, just know I'll be waiting regardless of how long the progress is. I'm invested in this story and I'm here for the long haul. Just don't overwork yourself with writing.

“We need to talk.”
Shego felt ridiculous, just saying it. She’d written this out and rehearsed it a dozen times, but now that she was standing in Kim’s living room, she couldn’t remember what she was supposed to say.
“That’s what people say when they’re breaking up.” Kim said it with a hint of laughter, like it was funny, like it was a joke, like she couldn’t imagine that Shego was actually breaking up with her.
“Yeah.”
“Oh.” Shego watched as the grin melted off Kim’s face and her eyebrows drew together in the middle. She didn’t seem upset, not yet — just confused, like this was a puzzle she needed to solve. Like she still couldn’t believe that Shego would do this. “Oh.”

Shego raised an eyebrow. “It’s never stopped you before.” Her gaze turned calculating. “But you weren’t Kim Possible before, were you?”
“I’m always Kim Possible.”
“But now you have to act like it.” God, she hated how easily Shego read her. Until now, she’d been playing a part, and in that part, she could do anything. She could drink. She could flirt with Shego. She could tease her. And none of it had been real.
This was real. Shego wasn’t talking to Kim Jefferson; she was talking to Kim Possible, an agent of Global Justice. An assassin who’d been tasked with her murder.
“When are you supposed to kill me?”
