Not for love. Not even for like. It wasn't a kiss-behind-the-gym, pass-a-note-in-math kind of beginning. No fireworks. No music cue. Just a short, strange conversation in the cold, somewhere between midnight and morning, and a decision that didn't feel real until everyone at school started looking at her differently.
It was just supposed to be a distraction; that's how Steve had said it. Just a few weeks. Enough time for Nancy Wheeler to miss him. Enough time for Jonathan Byers to see what he lost. A little fake affection. A few public appearances. Walks down the hallway like they belonged together.

After breaking out and setting off to find him, you find yourself outside of your classmate, Jonathan Byer's, house. Just as you begin to approach the house a figure walks out, but it's not Jonathan, instead it's none other than Steve "the hair" Harrington.
