Summary
Hawkeye woke to the slow, treacherous spin of the Swamp, the kind of movement that meant either a bad hangover or a minor concussion. Given the dull throb behind his right temple, he decided to split the difference. His shirt smelled like stale beer, his ribs ached like someone had mistaken him for a punching bag, and somewhere in the distance, a memory itched.
OR: Hawkeye wakes up with a hangover, trying to piece together the events of the night before.

All of them revolve around either the idea of a MASH reunion post-war or about the theory that Trapper never wrote to Hawkeye because he got news that he died during S4 E5 The Late Captain Pierce and was never told otherwise once it was cleared (or both ideas).

If anything good comes into the Swamp, Hawkeye assumes BJ will share. Japanese candy, the latest whirligig from one of the local merchants, even the trashy paperbacks he swears he doesn't read keep ending up on Hawk's pillow with creases in the spine.

5 times BJ looks at Hawkeye in a way that makes his heart ache with something he can't write off as friendly affection (but oh, how he tries to find excuses) plus one time Hawkeye looks at him the same way.
With a reminder of Peg this close to him, her voice almost ringing in his ears, it's no wonder BJ's getting his affections mixed up; the attraction he feels for his wife refracting the love he feels for his friend into something aching and desperate. Hawkeye's not his wife, after all, but they might as well be married for how close they are out here. It's no wonder, when he puts it like that, that he's almost overwhelmed by the urge to crawl onto Hawkeye's cot and press a kiss to the corner of his smile.

If surgery is a dance, he and Hawkeye make excellent partners.
Which is all to say, he can't understand why it is that Hawkeye refuses to actually dance with him. That night in the O-Club, nor any night, for that matter."
Or, BJ learns, perhaps, why it is Hawkeye won't ever accept his offers to dance. Which he's not upset about at all, because he's only asking as a joke (of course).

Spoilers for 5x06 Brawl in Cell Block 9-1-1
“You ever think that maybe I might be doing this for me too?” Eddie asks.
Buck looks a little broken at that, the way his face seems to almost collapse in on itself, and the breath he lets out is shaky and a little surprised. But it’s true. Eddie needs this. He needs to convince himself that he’s safe, that Buck’s safe, that Christopher’s safe. He needs the quiet ministrations to calm him down—he needs to slip into the familiar motions of giving care until his heart rate slows and finally the last of the adrenaline can ebb away.
He lets his thumb brush at Buck’s cheek, his hand still cradling his jaw. The moment seems to stretch and breathe and they stay there for a while, tethered by touch, until finally Buck gives a little nod of acceptance as he lets Eddie continue with his work.

While they wait for news at the hospital, Eddie tends to Buck's head wound.
