Summary
Luffy should be dead. He knows he should be. After all, Kaido hit his head with a lot of force, and his usually rubber head got cracked open in a way one cannot survive.
Luffy knows.
And yet, he is not. Instead, he is trapped in a place that he cannot escape, a world where good and evil are defined for you, where society is split into two main factions, where people are either heroes or villains. Lawful or Lawless.
Wanted or Discarded.
Loved or Hated.
The definition of good and bad is as accepted as Robin‘s level headed opinion or as accepted as Nami‘s weather forecast when she says it will be a sunny day and everyone knows she’s right.
Despite being alive, Luffy is trapped in another world with stricter laws than his own.
Despite being alive, Luffy is not free.

or, Luffy ends up in MHA/BNHA, after „dying“ during his battle with Kaido and struggles for a way back to Onigashima.
Beware that Luffy is not mentally stable (much like many other characters) and there will be triggers. English is not my first language, so despite editing, there will be mistakes.

Tommy ran.
He ran and ran and ran.
Away from all the conflict. Away from exile. Away from the people. Away from Dream.
Dream took it too far. They all took it too far.
He was never the cause of anything, so why did he have to suffer while others were living happily their lives, happy that Tommy was gone..And what does a rebellious teenager do, when everything goes to shit?
He rebels.
And when Dream finds out?
He runs away.Hopefully the Nether is a better place than the overworld.
