Hmm... I keep clicking 'kudos' on reflex after every chapter and my absent-mindedness is beginning to annoy me -_-
Zuko coming out was unexpected and so far I can't tell who he could be into apart from Sokka. Azula really doesn't need any more competition :[

On his way back from Ba Sing Se, carrying important documents for Fire Lord Zuko, Ambassador Sokka is attacked and left alone in the middle of nowhere, with nothing but his feet to carry him all the way to the closest city. Never would he have thought that when seeking shelter in a little village along the way, he would find himself face to face with an old nemesis the next day... much less how he would come to appreciate her.
Five years after the war, Sokka runs into Azula again. But not all is what it seems as he sets out to find out what she is up to.

The first time can always be discounted as a mistake. A one-time slip-up is a flight of fancy. Alternatively, it can be called a poor decision, or a lapse in judgment.
Those excuses are less powerful the second time. They are useless the third and after.
Azula and Sokka struggle with their desires after the war is over.
