Summary

Summary
A multitude of things were running through Hyuna’s mind. She was still puzzled by his proposition and how she added up into the equation. Another part of her brain is telling her to just kill the beast in front of her. It's just another monster in which she was tasked with killing. She tries to move her hand towards his center and plunge her stake deep into his chest. Yet when she looks at him in the eyes, it's as if his stare casted a paralysis spell on her, keeping her hand planted by her side. His eyes seem lifeless yet when she looked into them, there was a fire that burned that felt familiar.
It was dumb. An absolutely idiotic thing that she is about to do. But if this creature is more just a monster under the surface, that the human he once was still in there, she was willing to give him a chance.
Basically Hyuluka vampire au.

Summary
They are so small, weaker and even more fragile than he is, like the light of tiny flickering candles waiting to be snuffed out by the faintest breeze. They don't do much besides eat and cry, demanding her undivided attention at all times of the day, and yet Hyuna loves them more than anything.
More than herself, more than her freedom, and certainly more than him.
Luka cannot understand why.
He glares, but the baby doesn't seem to understand his ire, simply staring up at him with eyes like his, wide and curious. The baby giggles, much to his confusion, smiling up at him despite the obvious dislike he is trying to convey to the little thing, and something odd stirs in his chest, warm like he'd swallowed a miniature sun.
His expression softens a little.
Perhaps he can understand, if only a little, why Hyuna seems to like them so much.
After escaping with Hyuna and unwillingly joining the rebellion, Luka learns to be human.
