Summary
Izaya Orihara wants to feel alive. Every time he fights Shizuo Heiwajima, his blood pumps in a way that brings meaning to his life. No matter what he did, he would never be able to stop getting close to the monster of Ikebukuro, just to feel his hands on him, to smell his skin. He hated Shizuo with every fiber of his being, but that didn't mean he didn't love messing with him any chance he could get. Something that people don't know about Izaya, is that he is lonely. Throughout the years, he had become skilled at pushing those he cared about away, leaving him to have no set of arms to fall into at the end of a long day. When he realizes this one day, he comes up with a stupid, but exhilarating plan to convince Shizuo to sleep with him as a way to calm the feud between them. It would be a win-win scenario. Izaya gets laid and an ear for his problems, while Shizuo gets to hurt him in a new way that wouldn't bring devastation to the city he lives in. Not to mention, it would be a way for Izaya to get close to the man he'd been secretly enamored by for years, and a new way to feel truly alive.
