Summary
Accepting Clockwork's offer to become his apprentice in exchange for freedom from the Fenton Thermos was only meant to be temporary. Dan figured he'd find a way to break free soon enough to resume his rampage and pursue his revenge on his younger self. But as time passes, Dan comes to find that he actually enjoys working with Clockwork, and as the pair of them begin to bond, he soon forgets all about his plans to escape.
But just as Dan starts to get comfortable in his new role, disaster strikes. He's now stuck serving as the Master of Time, trying to hold all of reality together after time itself is shattered, while his younger self is lost in the past, desperately attempting to piece Clockwork's core back together. It's a race against the clock to fix everything before time is broken forever, but thankfully they may just get a little bit of help in completely unexpected places.
One thing's for sure. Once the dust settles, the Infinite Realms will never be the same again.
