“Do you really like them so much?” Sancho asked leaning over the side of couch.
Bari nodded, “They’re really sweet. So good I feel bad eating them all every time.” She smiled softly, offering Sancho a hand the way a lady was expecting a knight to take. “How about you take a bite of me and we’ll call it even?”
Sancho sneered batting the hand away with scorn, her lips curling in disgust as she turned, as if repulsed, as if the very thought sickened her. “Do not insult me. I would not harm my—” her jaw snapped shut, and it was only after a heavy pause under Bari’s gaze that Sancho finished, “Our guest.”

It was not a rare sight to see the uninvited guests that would throw themselves against the iron gates of Wuthering Heights, some in despair, others in anger, and most in a fit of both. What was rare, was to see these uninvited guests quickly incapacitate the butlers that had promptly arrived to commence housekeeping.
