    And Yet—
    In Aedes Elysiae, among the wheat fields and eternal autumn, does a single Stellaria thrive under the careful nurturing of but one Sílphion, and all those that came before it.

     

    Stellaria do not thrive in Apollonia, they are not welcome there, they do not belong there. And even then, one grows there – in the fields of Sílphion where they stand tall, virtuous, valuable. It alone stands small, huddled, but thriving, for the Stellaria is content in where it is.

    It is content with the world that has been made for it, it is content with how its very special Sílphion distributes nutrients to it, and how it has made this place that it could not possibly make home into one that it can live in.
