Summary
Jason and Damian try to run away from the League of Assassins but something in their plan goes wrong, leading Jason to believe that his younger brother died while Damian thinks that his older brother abandoned him.
Jason goes back to Gotham, expecting to find comfort in his father’s arms and tell him what happened. Instead, he’s welcomed by the news that the Joker escaped Arkham Asylum after Batman and Robin caught him three months ago. Guided by hate and grief, a new crime lord rises, promising that he’ll clean the city.
Meanwhile, Damian finally sees how naive he was for believing that Jason loved him, it shamed him deeply that his grandfather had to be the one who enlightened him. He swore that he would bring back home the head of the man who dared to betray him while calling him “brother” to show his devotion and loyalty to his real family.
