Summary
Ruko swallows. “I grieve her.”
“I can tell.”
“And I’m despicable for it.”
Shal doesn’t respond. Anything he could say would only reaffirm what they both already know.

A speculative future fic. It follows canon, it’s just a possible scene set sometime after the end of the book. -

Summary
Kaeya simply smiled at him, before turning forward once more,
“Will you be making a Windblume this year?”Albedo tilted his head.
The Windblume festival hosted many a tradition, but the most notable event on the roster was the highly anticipated Way of the Windblume ceremony. The ceremony required Mondstadts people to carefully craft their own Windblumes in any way that they prefer, and delicately inscribe their deepest wish somewhere within its folds. After all the Windblumes were collected, usually a member of the Knights would climb the height of the cathedral, scatter the Windblumes and wishes into the breeze, and let the Anemo Archons winds carry them through the city and into fulfilment.
To wish, Albedo wondered.
Or,
Kaeya and Albedo are assigned to prepare a very special Windblume Festival tradition. Albedo learns what it means to wish, and they bond over the heavy burden that only the two of them share.
