Summary
¿Qué estarías dispuesto a soportar con tal de tener el trabajo de tus sueños?, ¿con tal de ser capaz de poner tu nombre en los anales de la historia? Para Espresso, la respuesta es fácil: cualquier cosa. Por supuesto, decirlo es una cosa, pero hacerlo es otra completamente diferente.
Tras mantener una entrevista de trabajo con el rey Pure Vanilla I, el profesor accede a completar una simple tarea a cambio de una recompensa sin precedentes: Enseñarle a leer al sobrino del rey, y a cambio, él le dará los recursos suficientes para continuar con sus investigaciones revolucionarias. Sin embargo, el profesor se dará cuenta que no será tan fácil cumplir esta tarea, una vez se de cuenta de aquello que yace dentro de las habitaciones más profundas del reino Vainilla.

He must be holding their daughter a bit too gingerly, because Shadow Milk Cookie takes one look at him and snickers until he winces. The afterpains of childbirth certainly seem to have knocked him down a peg; something that Pure Vanilla Cookie mentally notes, but does not say aloud, as he would prefer to live at least a little bit longer.
“Well, I’ll be,” Shadow Milk Cookie purrs. “If I’d known this is all it’d take to get you shaking in your boots—I mean, your metaphorical ones, since you’ve always got those dogs out—but if this is all I had to do, I woulda gotten you to knock me up a whole lot sooner, 'Nilly. You’re acting like you’ve never held a baby before.”
“I’ve never held our baby before,” Pure Vanilla Cookie insists.Or: Pure Vanilla Cookie meets his daughter for the first time.

Alicent can see the worry on Rhaenyra's face when she mentions the child, it is still small in her womb, and few know about it.
"And he suspects something about Aegon?"
Alicent laughs, hands coming to rest on Rhaenyra's shoulders.
"Aegon is two, Rhaenyra" - Rhaenyra smiles, her cheeks filling with a deep red color, and her hand drops from Alicent's chin to her neck - "And your father can't stop talking about how pretty he is, he calls him an angel. Even if we fucked in front of him he wouldn't be able to see the truth."
Rhaenyra's smile drops from her face, and Alicent feels her mood souring.
"Do you think he knows?"
