Summary
Ciaphas Cain, Hero of the Imperium, the self-proclaimed coward, managed the impossible in the grim darkness of the far future: a happy ending. Fate would not be kind to Ciaphas's soul, however, as he found himself plucked from the warp of his time for another purpose.
His new life seemed easy, just another noble face in the crowd, but Nuceria has dangers that the Guard could have never prepared him for.
When the dust settles, his new position brings forward a unique opportunity in the form of a small boy coated in blood slated to die in the arena.

However, this timeline is not quite the same as the original, nor is he the only one who has lived through the future.
