As Yuuji jogs down the hallway towards the showers, Megumi feels a brush of fur against his ankles. He jumps, whipping his head down, coming face-to-face with one singular rabbit.
The rabbit stares back at him with unblinking red eyes as Megumi tries to process the situation. He didn’t realise he had released his technique at all. He didn’t even sense the cursed energy of his rabbit.

“Woah, you got it!” Yuuji claps and they both watched the crane go back to its original position before dropping the tiger plushie to the slot. Yuuji crouched down, taking the prize. “You’re good at this, Fushiguro!”
“Eh...” Megumi massaged his nape. He’s not blushing. He’s not! “Not really.”
“I’ll call you... Tora-san!” Yuuji proudly lifts up the toy, looking at it with the brightest smile and the brightest eyes before hugging it tightly. Yuuji pats its head like it was a real pet and Megumi can’t help but wish that he’ll be the one Yuuji was hugging instead.
“He’s so cute!” Yuuji giggles. “Thanks, Fushi!”
Oh my god. Megumi felt his heart lurch. “... After we eat, let’s go home?”
Yuuji nods. “Yeah!”

Megumi hopes that if there was an FBI agent monitoring his phone, they won’t question him as to why he wanted to be a plushie today.
