The child is crying. Arahan is not used to the child crying, or showcasing any emotion other than anger, so it stills him. He looks out at the window, the mask over the upper part of his face no match for his Eyes, and quietly asks his friends:
"What now, comrades? I..."

Yeon closes her eyes for a second. She feels tired. And she's freezing. She hasn't been so cold since those first times climbing up Pilju Hall. It makes her feel like a child, defenseless and weak and scared. Doha's severe expression does little to soothe those feelings.
The fact that she doesn't want him to let go is even more humiliating.
"You can't, Doha," she says anyway, because it's the truth.
