Summary
Jaemin has never imagined a life without his childhood best friend Jeno in their little village, walled off first with brick then with a psychic barrier to protect from the mutants who roam the outside post-apocalyptic world. While Jaemin's always had average psychic powers, average smarts, he notices more and more how Jeno, as one of the gifted and powerful kids in their class, actually gets punished More by teachers for being Too powerful.
As they grow up, Jaemin discovers and then forgets and then re-discovers more backwards things about their little village. Eventually he realizes he needs to protect Jeno from suffering the same fate as other kids who have been erased from existence, which is the school board's preferred method for dealing with kids whose powers have a chance of growing out of control in the future.
However, it will be difficult for Jaemin to reach Jeno if he can't remember.

Summary
In an AU where akuma have become their own species, akuma teens are sent to asylums until adulthood. Marinette is looking for Mylene one day, but discovers that no one at the asylum remembers her. When trying to find out if Mylene ever really existed, the secrets of the asylum begin emerging, and Marinette finds out that there are some dreams that you shouldn't wake up from. Summary
After Will’s rescued from the Upside Down, he’s finally been cleared to return to school. That’s when Mike notices all these girls begging him to pass along little love notes to Will, the female population of Hawkins Middle crushing hard on his best friend. Mike has no idea how to handle all this attention that’s directed at an unsuspecting Will’s way, and he hopes that Will never gives any of these girls his time. Being 13 never felt so confusing.

“Meow,” and there’s no way she heard that right, eyes snapping away from where she’d been distractedly watching the TV screen and over to her brother’s friend. She checks again, and yeah, Will is holding a stuffed bear, not a cat. The beloved Tiggy stays firmly attached to his bag, so they aren’t playing with tigers, either.
“So they go back down the mountain, and now all the village people are asking them about the crystal, and Rory is sad thinking they didn’t get it that whole time, but then–”
“Meow. Meow,” Will declares, removing the teddy from the dinosaur’s back and making it do some sort of interpretive dance.

“Look,” Will says, turning fully on the pallet to face Mike, one hand reaching down for the rough wood to find purchase and ground him. “Do you-, do you want to show me. Like-, like want to practice?”
Mike’s eyes widen but he doesn't say anything.
“Sorry, stupid idea, just wanted to help.” Will is trying to gather the words back up from the air between them and into his mouth.
“I never thought it was stupid.” Mike says, so quietly it's not much more than an exhale. “I suggested it first.” He adds, like it's a secret.
Will grips the pallet harder. “Show me. I really do want to help.”
Mike bites his lip a sec, and Will thinks he's going to say no, but then Mike's darting forward and pressing his lips firm and quick against Will’s. It's barely a kiss. Not romantic. Not enough to leave a scar. Will bleeds anyway.

Or: Mike has been kissing Will on and off since they were seven. How are you supposed to recognise an avalanche when you are drowning in snowballs?

A punched out breath escaped Will. "I didn't think you would ever bring it up, honestly. For the longest time, I wasn't even sure you knew."
"I didn't. I just never- I don't understand.. why me? After everything that happened, why would it be me?" Mike felt like he was being wheeled into surgery, laid bare on the table for everyone to see the mess that was his heart.
"What? Mike, how could it not be you?" Will let out a disbelieving laugh. "Mike, it was always you. It had always been you back then."
Back then. Late again.
"But not anymore?"
Mike Wheeler gets drunk and confessions ensue.
